FLEA AND CRAFTS MARKET:

The Rosebank flea market is a must. You may just find that piece you have been looking for. There is also a wide selection of crafts from all over Africa. After an hour or two of browsing and buying, we make our way to the Carnivore Restaurant, for a feast the African Way. (Not included in the tour fee)

LESEDI:

At the foot of the Magaliesberg Mountains lies Lesedi, where four tribes live in harmony with each other. They will take you on 3-hour tour of their cultures and traditions.

EAST/WEST RAND LOCAL TRAIN JOURNEY:

Come on this tour and see Johannesburg from the window of a commuter train. Our journey will start in the east and we’ll be passing all the little mining towns in the east onto Johannesburg and suburbs through to the Westrand. This journey is +/- 2hours long. Our journey ends in Randfontein in the west. We’ll have a lunch break, and we’ll drive back to your hotel via the Northrand for some more sites seeing, this tour can also be tailor made to suite your specific needs.
Duration of tour 5 hours
Price: R380-00 p/p Minimum 6 persons including lunch, train tickets and transport back to hotel.


SHOSHOLOZA MEYL TRAIN TOUR: Day one

This is a unique way of seeing this big wonderful country from the window and corridors of a luxury train journey from Johannesburg to Cape Town. The train has a dinning car, first class compartment, one-night journey, beautiful romantic music will be played by myself on a tenor saxophone while enjoying your drinks before you go to bed. Morning finds us traveling through mountainous areas of the Cape to make our journey through the beautiful wine-lands of the Cape. To arrive in Cape Town approximately 15h00 the next day. We’ll be taken to our hotel for accommodation including dinner. The rest of the afternoon is left for your leisure

 

SHOSHOLOZA MEYL TRAIN TOUR: Day two

After breakfast we make our way to Cape Town Station for our train journey through the Cape Peninsula going south to Simonstown. The naval headquarters of the country our journey takes us all along the sea and some of those beautiful fishing harbours and on a busy day the ocean rush almost up to the train. We’ll end our first part of the journey in Simonstown for a little tour and visit to the naval museum. After lunch we take our return part of the journey back to Cape Town, where you can to tour the “Mother City” at your leisure. There is so much to do and see on a tour like this, please feel free to add what suites your needs.
